Representation and Identity: A belonging and mattering enrichment project with PGCE Secondary trainee teachers in a partnership primary school.

Joanne Mimnagh began working at Manchester Met in 2005 in Initial Teacher Education. Joanne’s main areas at the time were languages in both primary and secondary schools. I have now moved into focussing upon multilingualism and SEND. Joannes’ research interests are around creating inclusive multilingual classrooms and using pragmatics as a lens through which to view the International and Multilingual Students’ experience of language during the one-year secondary PGCE.
